PerpPulse BINANCE USDⓈ-M

METHODOLOGY

How PerpPulse Public Market Data Is Calculated

Definitions, timing, alert stages and limitations for the delayed public layer.

Public data is delayed by at least 24 hours. This methodology describes the historical public layer, not real-time exchange data.

Market Universe

PerpPulse reads Binance USDⓈ-M futures markets that are USDT quoted, marked PERPETUAL, and currently TRADING in the explicit public catalog.

Snapshots and public timing

Metrics are based on persisted 2H snapshots. A public page is delayed by at least 24 hours. The snapshot timestamp identifies the persisted public data point; it is not a real-time exchange quote. Collection gaps and later repair may affect availability and sitemap timestamps.

Open Interest and changes

Open Interest is the outstanding futures exposure recorded for the snapshot. OI 2H, 8H and 24H compare the persisted values over those windows. Price changes use the corresponding persisted market values.

OI Flow Proxy

OI Flow Proxy is a derived PerpPulse indicator that combines changes in open interest with the observed price context. It is a nominal proxy, not measured capital inflow or a claim about trader intent.

Volume Ratio compares the current 2H quote volume with the symbol's historical reference window.

Alert stages

L1_WATCH, L2_PERSISTENT, L3_CONFIRM, and OI_FLUSH are persisted main alert transitions. WATCHING is a display retention state, not a raw alert stage.

Limitations

Public pages are historical and delayed. They may contain gaps or repaired snapshots, and they do not expose the paid archive or real-time detail projection. Nothing on PerpPulse is financial advice.
